Faced Batts & Rolls
Faced batts and rolls are lightweight, naturally white thermal
and acoustical fiber glass made of long, resilient glass fibers.
In all Johns Manville faced batts and rolls, the fibers are bonded with a
Formaldehyde-free™ binder, to promote better indoor air quality. The facing
serves as an integral vapor retarder, reducing the potential for mold and mildew
growth and making faced insulation an appropriate choice for external walls. JM faced
batts and rolls come in a variety of R-values from R-11 to R-38.
MR® Faced Batts are a lightweight thermal and acoustical fiber glass insulation made of long, resilient glass fibers bonded with an acrylic thermosetting binder. The facing serves as an integral vapor retarder and is additionally protected against potential fungi growth.

Johns Manville FSK-25 faced batts are laminated with an FSK (foil-scrim-kraft) facing, which enables the insulation to carry a fire hazard classification rating of 25/50 or less per ASTM E 84. The FSK-25 facing also serves as an excellent vapor retarder and may be left exposed where codes permit. The FSK-25 batts are a lightweight fire-resistant thermal and acoustical fiber glass insulation made of long, resilient glass fibers bonded with an acrylic thermosetting resin.

Ideal for moisture control in external walls, Johns Manville Foil-faced thermal and acoustical insulation is available in R-values ranging from R-11 to R-38. Foil-faced insulation is available in pre-cut batts for standard cavities.
Johns Manville Panel Deck FSK-25 faced thermal and acoustical fiber glass insulation is made of long, resilient glass fibers bonded with an acrylic thermosetting binder.
