DynaGrip® Base P/SA
Johns Manville (JM) DynaGrip® Base P/SA is a self-adhering modified bitumen sheet incorporating the features of a medium weight fiber glass mat with a blend of SBS (Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene) rubber and high quality asphalt. This elastomeric asphaltic blend has full recovery properties after 100% elongation and lends elasticity and flexibility to the sheet. The modified asphalt is selfadhering and has an easy-to-peel, removable release plastic film on the bottom of the sheet and selvage. The top of the sheet is polyolefin surfaced. DynaGrip Base P/SA is designed for use in roofing systems as a base ply under a heat welded cap. It may also be used as a base sheet under flashing.
