Lightweight Concrete (LWC) Base Sheet Fasteners
LWC Base Sheet Fasteners are twin legged, expanding base sheet fasteners. They are designed for the attachment of base sheets to lightweight, insulating concrete roof decks. They are manufactured from G-90 galvanized steel and are coated with a corrosion-resistant coating which meets the FM Global Approval Standard #4470. The head diameter is 1.1" (28 mm) and the leg length is either 1.2" (30 mm) or 1.7" (43 mm).
A 2.7" (70 mm) Galvalume® plate is available for maximum wind uplift resistance. The LWC Base Sheet Fastener is available pre-assembled with the Galvalume plate for faster, more economical installation.
