PermaPly® 28
Johns Manville (JM) PermaPly 28 is a light weight, asphaltcoated, fiber glass base felt. It is manufactured by coating a JM wet process fiber glass mat with a weathering grade asphalt and then surfaced with a fine mineral parting agent.
PermaPly 28 is well suited as a replacement for coated organic base felts, as the fiber glass (inorganic) mat reinforcement is rot resistant and has low moisture absorption.
