Duct Board
Johns Manville Duct Board products provide an attractive alternative to traditional
sheet metal ducts, with benefits for both the builder and residential occupants.
The advantages of fiber glass ducts in a residential setting include:

- accurate temperature control, less wasted energy
- resistance to dust and dirt
- quiet operation
- resistance to microbial growth
- resistance to condensation
These installer friendly boards have smooth surfaces and can be fabricated easily
for faster installation.
SuperDuct® RC Air Duct Board is made from strong, resilient glass fibers bonded with a thermosetting resin. Male/female joints are factory made on the transverse edges of each board. A tough FSK (foil-scrim-kraft) facing is laminated to the exterior surface of the board.
Mat-Faced Micro-Aire® Duct Board is produced from durable glass fibers, bonded with a thermosetting resin. The airstream side of Mat-Faced Micro-Aire Duct Board features a fiber glass mat for use at velocities up to 5,000 fpm (25.4 m/sec).

EnviroAire™ Formaldehyde-free™ Fiber Glass Duct Board is produced from durable glass fibers, bonded with a thermosetting resin. The airstream side of the duct board features a fiber glass mat for use at velocities up to 6,000 fpm (30.5 m/sec.).

Diffuser Board is a 4 pcf density board made from strong, resilient glass fibers bonded with a thermosetting resin. The airstream surface of the Diffuser Board features a black coated surface that minimizes visibility of the board at the diffuser and register boxes.
