Faced Batts & Rolls
Faced batts and rolls are lightweight, naturally white thermal
and acoustical fiber glass made of long, resilient glass fibers.
In all Johns Manville faced batts and rolls, the fibers are bonded with a
Formaldehyde-free™ binder, to promote better indoor air quality.
The facing serves as an integral vapor retarder, reducing the potential
for mold and mildew growth and making faced insulation an appropriate choice
for external walls. JM faced batts and rolls come in a variety of R-values
from R-11 to R-38.
MR® Faced Batts are a lightweight thermal and acoustical fiber glass insulation made of long, resilient glass fibers bonded with an acrylic thermosetting binder. The facing serves as an integral vapor retarder and is additionally protected against potential fungi growth.
